Aruna-Senggigi, September 5th, 2024, the Office of Kesyahbandaran Affairs and Port Authority Class III Lembar held a Socialization of Shipping Safety, Handling Procedures, and Transportation of Dangerous Items at Lembar Port. At this event, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Mataram Universit, Dr. dr. Arfi Syamsun, MSiMed., SpKF was given the opportunity to give a speech at the Socialization Forum on Shipping Safety, Handling Procedures, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods held by the Office of Municipal Affairs and Port Authority (KSOP) class III Lembar. On this occasion, the Dean of FKIK Unram also introduced the Marine Medicine (KL) Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) owned by FKIK Unram. After the welcoming session, the event continued with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Dean of FKIK UNRAM, Dr. dr. Arfi Syamsun, MSiMed., SpKF and the Head of KSOP class III Lembar, Capt. Purgana, MM. Sabtu, 7 September 2024, Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan (FKIK) Universitas Mataram menggelar acara pembukaan Festival Olahraga dan Seni Medical (FORSECAL) sebagai salah satu rangkaian acara Dies Natalis FKIK Unram yang ke-2024. FORSECAL, yang merupakan ajang Lomba Eksternal dari FKIK Unram ini berlangsung dengan meriah di Gelanggang Pemuda dan Olahraga Mataram, yang dibuka secara resmi oleh Dekan FKIK Unram, didampingi oleh Wakil Dekan III FKIK Unram, Ketua BEM KM FKIK Unram, dan Ketua Panitia FORSECAL. Pembukaan FORSECAL 2024 ini juga dimeriahkan dengan penampilan perkusi oleh Rythm Groove dan pertunjukan dance dari One Shake Crew Smansa Tak hanya itu, Opening Forsecal 2024 juga diwarnai oleh pertandingan fun match ajang olahraga Dekan Cup FKIK Unram, yaitu pertandingan sepak bola antara Tim All-Star FKIK yang terdiri dari mahasiswa terpilih menghadapi tim mahasiswa dari angkatan 2024. Pertandingan tersebut menjadi ajang bagi mahasiswa untuk menunjukkan sportivitas antar pemain, diikuti dengan sorak sorai semangat dari seluruh mahasiswa yang hadir, yang turut menyemarakkan suasana dengan dukungan kepada kedua tim. Tidak hanya itu, kemeriahan semakin memuncak ketika mahasiswa angkatan 2024 mempersembahkan flashmob di tengah acara. Tarian energik yang dipertontonkan oleh puluhan mahasiswa ini sukses memukau seluruh penonton dan membuat suasana semakin meriah dan penuh semangat. August 30-31, 2024, the Association of Higher Education of Pharmacy Indonesia (APTFI) held an Assembly and Member Meeting in Lombok. This prestigious event is a forum for coordination between leaders of Pharmacy Universities (PTF) from all over Indonesia, for the aim of strengthening synergy and collaboration in advancing pharmacy education in the country. Six PTFs in the Lombok region, there are the Mataram University, the University of Muhammadiyah Mataram, the University of Bumigora, the University of Nahdatul Ulama NTB, the University of Qamarul Huda Badaruddin, and the University of Hamzanwadi, acted as local committees in making this activity a success. The event was honored with the direct presence of the Chairman of APTFI, Prof. apt. Yandi Syukri, and officially opened by the Rector of the University of Mataram, Prof. Bambang Hari Kusumo, Ph.D. In his remarks, Prof. Bambang emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities in producing qualified pharmaceutical personnel who are able to compete at the national and international levels. Meanwhile, Prof. Yandi Syukri expressed his hope that this meeting could be a momentum to strengthen synergy between PTFs in facing the challenges of pharmaceutical education in the era of globalization.
