Profile of the Unram Faculty of Medicine Career and Career Guidance Unit

1. Counseling and Career Development Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Unram

                The Counseling and Career Guidance Unit or abbreviated as UKBK is a unit formed as support and facilities provided by the Faculty of Education and Culture to students. This unit which was founded in 2014, was originally named Student Support System (SSS) and then changed to UKKB in 2022.

                In this unit, students can conduct psychological consultations with psychiatrists and peikologs so that they can help students maintain psychological stability. Consultation can be done by directly registering or can be done based on recommendations from academic supervisors or referrals from study programs.

3 .Ukbk Duties

The main tasks of UKBK are as follows:

1. Helping students who are experiencing academic and non-academic problems by providing counseling and further management if needed.
2. Performing an initial mapping of the mental health condition of new students of FK Unram.
3. Collaborating with S1 study programs and professions in organizing activities related to student development.
4. Follow up on requests for assessment and counseling from academic supervisors and study programs.
5. Make periodic reports on activities that have been carried out to the faculty leaders.
